ESPI Foundation promotes good software and systems engineering practice in Europe through the adoption of process improvement and the CMMI. We provide information to assist those starting out on the software process improvement journey, and facilitate exchange of knowledge and experience between practicing organisations.
In the role of mediator between practicing organisations and service suppliers we work with the Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, to stage the annual European SEPGTM conference, and promote training provided by third parties to support process improvement and CMMI activities.
ESPI Foundation does not provide Introduction to CMMI training or process improvement consultancy itself, which enables it to work non-competitively with process implementors and supporting organisations alike.
The European SEPG conference is a firm fixture in the diaries of software and systems professionals who are striving to improve their organisation's development capability in a process improvement environment. Highly regarded for the quality and relevance of the event's programme, the European SEPG presents new developments, current thinking and experience on making process improvement succeed in delivering measurable benefits.
The conference programme focuses on practical implementation issues and engages those at every level: Process Improvement 'Gurus', CMMI Assessors and Trainers, Senior IT Managers, Engineering Process Groups, Quality Professionals, Measurement Specialists and Project Managers. This unique gathering provides an opportunity for information sharing through presentations, tutorials, workshops, panels, an exhibition showcase and informal meetings.
